Damascus Trip is a bilingual web guide for discovering historical places across Damascus and Rif Dimashq. It brings curated place information, search and filtering, favorites, and visited-state tracking into one focused browsing experience.

Current scope: The project is presented as a bilingual historical guide with curated place data and visitor-facing discovery tools.

1. Browsing and Discovery

Visitors can move between Arabic and English, search the place collection, filter results, save favorites, and mark places as visited. The interface is designed to keep the location content easy to scan rather than turning the guide into a dense directory.

2. Bilingual Interface Design

Arabic content requires right-to-left typography and mirrored reading order, while English keeps the familiar left-to-right flow. Shared navigation and content structure keep both language experiences consistent.
